Privacy policy
We collect only what the service cannot work without, and we say exactly what that is.
What we collect
- Email address — to sign in and to send notifications. Signing in with Apple or Google passes us the address and the name, nothing else.
- Name — so it is clear who you are talking to about a listing.
- Precise location — the spot where the animal was lost or found, and your own position when you ask for listings nearby. In the public listing the point is rounded to about 100 metres; the exact point is seen only by the author of the listing and by the service team.
- Photos — the pictures attached to a listing. Location data inside the image file is stripped before the photo is stored.
- User identifier — the account your listings and conversations belong to.
- User content — the text of listings and the messages between users.
What it is used for
Running the service only: showing listings, connecting the person who lost an animal with the person who found it, and sending notifications for the areas you chose. There is no tracking, there are no advertising networks in the app, and we do not sell personal data to third parties.
What is never shown publicly
The contact details of the person who published a listing are not on the open web; reaching them goes through a conversation inside the service. The house number and the exact point on the map stay with the author and the service team. The street name is public — it describes a block, not a door.
Deletion and control
- Delete everything — in the app: “Settings” → “Delete account”. The profile, the listings and the conversations are removed. This cannot be undone.
- Ask what is stored about you, correct it or restrict processing — write to support@kidmatech.com; we answer within two working days.
- Withdraw permissions — location and photos are revoked in the iPhone settings; the app keeps working without them.
Reporting content and users
Every listing and every conversation has “Report” and “Block”. A report is reviewed within 24 hours; an account that breaks the terms is closed without warning. Blocking stops messages in both directions and hides that user's listings.
